How to measure your ring sizes

We need to measure our ring size before purchasing handmade rings from Etsy or other online markets. Here is a very easy way to do:   

• Using a string or piece of paper complete a circle around the bottom of your finger.
• Using a pen mark the string or paper at the circles connection point
• Measure the length of the string/paper from the top till the pen mark.
• With this measurement refer to www.onlineconversion.com/ring_size.htm find out your size.

Please note:

• Measure your finger later of the day since your fingers swell.
• Measure your finger in the warm weather since your fingers swell in warm condition.
• Measure 3 or 4 times to be sure.
• You need to take the knuckle into consideration when sizing. In some cases the bottom of your finger may be smaller then your knuckle. Also take into consideration your knuckle size when purchasing a ring with a wider band which should be sized ½ -1 size larger.
